I promise this is going to be the last Christmas blog you will see on our website this season. After all, with brands already dishing out some amazing CNY 2025 commercials, it’s only a matter of time before our attention diverts to the Chinese New Year. But we thought we should wrap up the holiday season with a round-up of some of the best Christmas 2025 commercials before immersing ourselves in the CNY festivities.
So, let’s take a look at these 5 awesome Christmas 2025 adverts that made the season an unforgettable one.
1. Deutsche Telekom: Bubbles
In a time when the world looks more divided than ever, we can all benefit from a little connection, as seen in this lovely commercial by the German telecom company Deutsche Telekom.
The ad revolves around two young girls, who are shown to be living in two different worlds separated by a pane of glass. But despite their separation, they forge a deep friendship, which triumphs over the invisible barriers of prejudice that society has built between them.
So, what happens when they decide to break down these barriers and give their friendship a chance to blossom? Watch this fantastic ad to find out.
2. The Perfume Shop: A Gift for Santa
From sneaking into people’s houses while ensuring not to be seen by anyone to avoiding their pet dogs, Santa’s job isn’t really an envious one. On top of that, the poor fellow also has to pay unexpected parking charges on his sleigh.
But how often are we really thankful to Santa for all these gifts? Thankfully, Mrs. Santa recognizes the efforts that her husband makes to bring smiles to everyone’s faces and has got a gift for him. This beautiful ad serves as a metaphorical reminder to all of us to cherish and value these ‘Santas’ in our lives and tell them that we see, appreciate, and are thankful for what they do for us every day.
So, did you get your ‘Santa’ a gift this Christmas?
3. Erste Group: Your Spark Can Light Up The World
Financial services company Erste Group celebrated the true story behind the highly popular Christmas carol “Silent Night” in this inspiring three-minute film.
The ad takes viewers back to the Austrian village of Obendorf in the winter of 1818, where we see a young man trying to bring some hope to his neighbors struggling with poverty and hunger. As it turns out, that young man is none other than Joseph Mohr, the little town’s priest who, along with his friend, the music teacher Franz Xaver Gruber, composes a song on Christmas Eve 1818. The song called “Silent Night” is performed on the same evening at the Christmas mass.
The ad explores with great historical accuracy how the song has been passed down from one generation to another ever since it was first performed in that small church by Mohr and Gruber.
4. O2: Snowing SIMs
In today’s highly connected world, the Internet has become a basic necessity for people from all walks of life. However, millions of people around the globe continue to live in data poverty and it can affect their lives in innumerable ways, as shown in this ad by the British telecom service provider O2.
The 60-second spot showcases real-world scenarios of people struggling with data poverty as they find it difficult to go about their lives. From struggling to execute their jobs to failing to make online payments at shops, the ad includes scenes inspired by real-life stories.
Thankfully, just when your heart starts to ache for these people and their inability to access one of the most essential services in today’s day and age, SIM card-styled snowflakes start falling gently from the sky into their hands, demonstrating the role O2 is playing in making the world more connected.
5. Celtic FC: Making Hoops & Dreams Come True!
Scottish football club Celtic launched an amazing ad this Christmas with a beautiful festive tale, following life-long Celtic supporter, Joe and his granddaughter, Lily as they get ready for their first festive season without Joe’s beloved wife Margaret.
The short film shows them going on to experience a very special Christmas where their dreams become a reality, thanks to some of their favourite Celts. The dream begins with the current keeper Kasper Schmeichel appearing at his door and includes a team talk from boss Brendan Rodgers and taking his place in the traditional team huddle. It ends with Joe and his granddaughter sharing their dream - before he opens his gifts on Christmas morning with muddied boots and a signed Henrik Larsson book, signed by the Swede, and thanking him for his ‘assist’.
Being part of a game with your favorite heroes; could one ever hope for a better Christmas gift? I don’t think so!
