5 Funniest Super Bowl 2025 Commercials That Brought the Game-Day Giggles

Writer's picture: ClickInsightsClickInsights

Super Bowl commercials have always been characterized by their heavy dose of humor. Brands pull out all the stops to entertain millions of viewers every year during the Super Bowl and this year it was no different. From celebrity cameos to absurdly funny storylines, Super Bowl ads this year had fans laughing just as hard as they were cheering, which was evident from some of the most hilarious Super Bowl 2025 commercials covered in our last week’s #FunnyFridays segment.

So, here we are again with 5 funniest Super Bowl 2025 commercials that kept the audiences entertained from kickoff to the final whistle!

1. Hellman’s: When Sally Met Hellmann's

New York mayonnaise brand brought in Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan in this insanely funny 30-second spot to reprise their roles from the 1989 rom-com classic When Harry Met Sally.

The ad shows the duo hilariously recreating the film's unforgettable deli scene in Katz's Delicatessen, with a deliciously creamy twist. The ad begins with Sally sitting across from Harry, celebrating their anniversary over a traditional deli lunch. Sally, who is clearly displeased with her turkey sandwich, adds a generous squeeze of rich and creamy Hellmann’s mayonnaise whose mind-blowing flavor makes her let out palpable food moans.

Sally’s unmissable sounds even make actress and producer Sydney Sweeney take notice, and deliver the famous line, "I'll Have What She's Having." Well, who wouldn’t want to?

2. Coors Light: Time Capsule

Beer brand Coors Light has yet again figured out a creative way to utilize the popularity of three-time NFL champion and two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes, who cannot directly endorse alcoholic beverages while still being an active player.

The funny ad shows Mahomes appearing in an online video about a shoot that is called off after a closer reading of NFL rules. The brand’s solution is to bury the full commercial in a time capsule, an event that will be livestreamed on June 28.

So they shot the entire ad and still managed to ‘stick’ to NFL rules. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

3. Uber Eats: A Century of Cravings

What would your reaction be if someone told you that the entire Super Bowl arrangement is a big conspiracy by food brands to sell you food? You will probably laugh it off, right? Think again!

The ad shows Matthew McConaughey saying that football was invented as an appetite stimulant and insisting that luminaries in the sport—from legendary Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka to NFL executives to retired quarterback Peyton Manning—have played a part in the elaborate scheme to make fans hungry. McConaughey also plays several characters in the spot, including an on-field Manning whose “Omaha” call becomes a cheeky shout-out to Omaha Steaks.

Honestly, I bought into McConaughey’s conspiracy theory had they not shown him trying to convince Greta Gerwig, albeit unsuccessfully, to make a movie about this!

4. Ram Trucks: Goldilocks and the Three Trucks

Glenn Powell does his own spin on Goldilocks and the Three Bears in this 60-second commercial by Ram Trucks.

How often do you go to a car dealership and not one person tells you if your vehicle can jump a volcano or outrun hungry bears? Happens all the time! Thankfully, Powell answers all those questions in this spot because why spend $8 million on a 90-second spot if you can’t even punch a dragon or two?

Courtesy of this funny yet ‘value-adding’ commercial, I now want to know if my truck can outrun a blood-thirsty grizzly. Because if it can’t, maybe I need to go for one of those Ram Trucks shown in the advert!

5. Stella Artois: David & Dave

When Stella Artois unveiled its Super Bowl teaser for this year in January, it left us all asking “Who Is Other David?”

Now, the brand’s full second spot reveals a plot twist with Matt Damon as the other David, who’s also Beckham’s long-lost twin.

The ad shows the two brothers bonding over ice-cold beers and hot wings after Beckham tracks down Damon. Before long it becomes clear that they have a lot in common, including an incredible right foot and a love for Stella.

Between you and I, I liked the other Dave’s shot more!
