From heartwarming and inspiring to downright funny, Super Bowl ads this year checked at least one of those boxes when it came to versatility. But that’s not all- there’s one more element every advertiser would wish their ad campaigns had i.e., a powerful message that raised awareness about major issues! And more than a few Super Bowl 2025 commercials did that, and in some style.

So, here we are with 5 impactful Super Bowl 2025 commercials that used their spotlight for a greater cause and sparked meaningful conversations.
1. Novartis: Your Attention, Please
We see them, we love them, and yet we ignore them. Naah, I am not talking about your spouses, it’s breasts! More commonly known as hooters, honkers, jubblies, boobolas, milk jugs, funba..!! Uh, okay, I got a bit carried away there🙈
But do you see how excited the mere mention of these incredible organs makes me and hundreds and thousands of other people? Yet, the sad truth is that they remain largely ignored by their owners! Globally, an estimated 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually, making it the most common cancer among women. This powerful 1-minute spot by pharmaceutical company Novartis, featuring American actors Wanda Sykes and Hailee Steinfeld, not only threw the spotlight on the menace of breast cancer but also urged women to get themselves tested at the earliest for early detection.
If you’re 40 and over, make annual screening a priority. If you’re under 40, now’s the time to find out your breast cancer risk and discuss with your doctor whether you should start screening earlier.
2. Dove: These Legs
Every girl deserves to keep playing the sports they love, yet 1 in 2 girls who quit sports are criticized for their body type.
Dove has released a moving 30-second spot to highlight this problem and the constant criticism that girls often face regarding their bodies, which compels them to let go of their most passionate sports. The ad focuses on the issue of body positivity and the need to change the way we speak to our girls about their body types.
Honestly, every time I hear about Dove’s ad campaigns, I am naturally reminded of its infamous 2017 “whitewashing” advert. However, the brand is doing its best to erase those memories of poor marketing from its audience’s mind with ad campaigns like the “Reverse Selfie”. Its Super Bowl ad this year is yet another attempt in that direction.
3. Hims & Hers: Sick of the System
Obesity is one of America’s biggest health concerns causing half a million deaths every year.
American telehealth brand Hims & Hers launched an advert during the Super Bowl that highlighted exactly how big of a problem obesity is in the American health space and the massively expensive life-saving drugs whose sole aim is to make profits. It then goes on to pitch its own weight-loss medication, which I would advise you to buy at your discretion.
Nevertheless, the advert surely gets the viewers’ attention to obesity- America’s biggest health pandemic.
4. Foundation to Combat Antisemitism: No Reason to Hate
You know the advert is going to be lit if it has got Snoop Dogg in it. Throw Tom Brady into the mix and you have got a banger.
This 30-second advert shows Snoop and Tom saying some of the meanest things and spelling out the reasons why they hate each other. Honestly, none of the things that they say make any sense. And that is the entire point of this brilliant advert- the reasons for hate are as stupid as they sound!
Now, take a moment and think if the reason you hate a group or a community is logical or simply as stupid as the ones spelled out by the two fellas in the ad.
5. Science Moms: By The Time
And here’s the one with the most important message- the one asking people to become more conscious about climate change.
The ad runs against the monologue from a pregnant scientist whose words paint a rather dark but sadly true picture of the future world without timely steps. From 9 billion more tonnes of carbon pollution in the air to wildfires burning down a million more acres- the world will have significantly changed by the time a child born today goes to college.
Our window to act on climate change is shrinking by the minute. Are you doing your bit?
Wrapping Up
And that’s a wrap of some of the most powerful Super Bowl 2025 commercials that spread awareness on key issues. Considering its massive popularity, the Super Bowl gives brands the unique opportunity to bring forth topics that they want people to talk about. All you need to do is back it up with a compelling commercial. The ad campaigns covered above are a fine example of that.
We’ll be back with more amazing adverts for you. Till then, stay tuned!
