5 Hilarious Super Bowl 2024 Commercials That Had Everyone In Stitches

And we are back with another #FunnyFridays segment where we bring to you some of the funniest commercials from the marketing world. The 58th edition of the Super Bowl is still quite fresh in our memories and so are the rib-tickling adverts that brands released this Super Bowl season. And what better way to discuss some of those than to include them in our #FunnyFridays segment?

So, here we are with 5 hilarious Super Bowl 2024 commercials that caused a laughter riot wherever they were aired. Let’s dive straight into those.

1. Verizon: Can’t B Broken

There aren’t too many things that Beyonce can’t beat. The popularity of Verizon’s 5G network is one of those.

Telecom company Verizon released a 90-second spot featuring Beyonce, which shows Queen Bey trying one thing after another to get past the crazy hype around Verizon’s 5G network. From getting back to her Lemonade era and playing the saxophone to introducing Beyonc-AI and running for the post of US president, Beyonce does a whole lot of crazy stuff to beat Verizon’s popularity but to no avail.

The advert ends with Beyonce asking her staff to release the new music and minutes after the ad gets aired, two new songs from her upcoming country album Act II are released. Short, funny, and stylish- that’s how I’d describe this advert!

2. Dunkin Donuts: The ‘Dunkings’

If Jeniffer Lopez thought it was a good idea to crash hubby Ben Affleck’s Dunkin ad last Super Bowl, she was in for a surprise this year.

The 60-second spot shows Ben Affleck crashing J’Lo’s studio with bestie Matt Damon and fellow Boston star Tom Brady to impress his better half. What’s more, the boys name their brand the Dunkings! As it turns out the boys find little support from J’Lo in their music venture. To make things worse, Ben seems to be at the end of the rope concerning his friendship with Damon. Will Hunting doesn’t seem too inclined to bail out Chuckie anymore!

3. Etsy: Gift Mode

Maintaining good geopolitical relationships requires diplomacy of the highest order. Well, this 30-second Super Bowl will prove that Etsy’s gift mode is all you need- and they have all the evidence to support this claim.

The ad takes us back to 1866 when France gifted the United States the Statue of Liberty. With the Americans at their wit's end regarding what they should send as a counter gift, their brightest minds come up with one brilliant idea- Cheese! Yup, that’s what the Americans sent to France as a return gift.

You see, Etsy doesn’t only help people fix personal relationships, it helps nations fix their relationships with other countries too!

4. T-Mobile: Auditions

T-Mobile dropped one of the funniest commercials this Super Bowl season with a plethora of stars auditioning for the brand.

The hilarious 68-second spot features Laura Dern, Brandley Cooper and his mom, Jeniffer Hudson, characters from the web series Suits, and Scrubs actors Zach Braff and Donald Faison. The actors are shown trying their best to convince T-Mobile about their various talents by demonstrating skills like juggling and whistling to playing the guitar and crying on cue.

The part that I found the funniest was when Zach Braff says to the camera that he was even willing to work alone, driving his bestie Faison mad at him😂

5. E-Trade: Picklebabies

If there’s one thing that most people are fond of, it’s watching babies trash-talking adults. And this hilarious 30-second Super Bowl spot by Morgan Stanley subsidiary E-Trade had that in plenty.

The funny commercial shows two babies playing tennis against two adults. While it’s funny to watch them celebrate a point against the toddlers, it’s even more hilarious watching babies roast them with their both tennis and smart-talking skills.

Wrapping Up

And that was a wrap of another #FunnyFridays segment. The formula for creating a successful Super Bowl commercial is somewhat simple. Get your script right and add a dash of humor to it- that’s all it takes to dish out a head-turning Super Bowl ad! Watch these hilarious Super Bowl 2024 adverts to know what I’m talking about.

We’ll be back with more amazing commercials for you. Till then, stay tuned!
