I realize how late I am with this blog but considering what a dud of a game it turned out, can you folks really blame me for ignoring the Super Bowl this year? I mean the Eagles absolutely destroyed the Kansas City Chiefs and the game was essentially over by the end of the first half. The final scoreline of 40-22 only suggests what a blowout it was! However, only a marketing dimwit would not cover Super Bowl 2025 ad campaigns. After all, advertisers paid an average of $8 million for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial in 2025, making it one of the biggest advertising events of the year.

Since humor is an integral theme and a tried-and-tested success formula for Super Bowl ads since time immemorial, they are always going to automatically feature in our #FunnyFridays segments. So, here we are with 5 hilarious Super Bowl 2025 commercials that made the final score irrelevant!
1. Liquid Death: Safe For Work
From pilots and cops to surgeons and school bus drivers, everyone in this 30-second spot is seen drinking from a beer can. Really, though?
Beverage company Liquid Death launched this hilarious advert showing people drinking beer against the soundtrack “Drink on the job”, leading us to think that the brand is encouraging consuming beer during working hours. However, we are in for a surprise when the disclaimer pops up revealing that it’s just water and leaving us all with a wide grin. Nicely done, fellas!
2. RITZ: Salty Club
There are salty people, there are saltier people like Aubrey Plaza and Michael Shannon, and then there’s Ritz- the saltiest of all!
The ad showcases the exclusive Utah Salt Flats Salty Club, which hosts some of the saltiest individuals, including Aubrey and Michael, who feel at home as they receive nasty looks from an irate toll booth worker and a girl who seems like the meanest girl alive! As they exchange some hilarious quips about who among them is the saltiest, Ritz beats both of them with its buttery and salty crackers, leaving both of them annoyed!
Don’t worry guys, you both can still squabble for the second spot!
3. Little Caears: Whoa!
Anything that celebrates Eugene Levy's iconic eyebrows is a winner in my book, especially if it is accompanied by an ad as funny as this!
The 30-second spot shows Eugene stepping out of Little Caesars and being so ecstatic by the taste of its Crazy Puffs that his eyebrows go flying for a little trip around the city, spooking people who are clearly petrified to see a pair of eyebrows flying. But that’s not all, his eyebrows start fluttering as soon as he finds out the restaurant has also launched bacon puffs. Maybe they would go flying across the country once he tries those!
4. Pringles: The Call of The Mustaches
If Little Caesars had flying eyebrows, Pringles relied on the magic of its mascot Julius Pringles’s flying mustaches to bring laughs this Super Bowl.
The ad shows Adam Brody being called upon to blow into an empty can of Pringles at a Super Bowl party to summon mustaches around the world to deliver chips to him. What follows next is mustaches plucking themselves away from their ‘owners’ and leaving people startled as they carry cans after cans of Pringles chips to Adam, albeit failing to get inside the building, leading Brody to head for the store to help himself.
I don’t think an ad could be more gross and funny at the same time!
5. Michelob ULTRA: The ULTRA Hustle
Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara are on the ultimate hustle as they prey upon unsuspecting pickleball players for their beers in this hilarious Super Bowl 2025 spot.
The ad showcases the duo challenging people at pickleball for their Ultra beers. So high up is their hustle game that even seasoned professional athletes like Sabrina Ionescu, Randy Moss, and Ryan Crouse get beaten hands-down!
Thankfully, that’s not how things are decided in the real world😥
