The Paris Olympics has come to a close. Despite the controversy around the opening ceremony that included the LGBTQ+ icon, Barbara Butch, the Games are being largely seen as successful- thanks to the non-controversial closing ceremony. I mean, all’s well that ends well. You don’t think so? Well, that’s okay! You will surely agree with what I am about to say next- some of the Olympic 2024 commercials were simply AWESOME!

1. Qantas: Olympics 2024 Ad
So, you’re upset that your favorite Olympian couldn’t get a podium finish? Well, participating in the Olympics is already a huge feat, and Australia’s flag carrier Qantas fully understands this.
Qantas released a heartwarming 90-second Olympic advert featuring some Australian players from their Olympic and Paralympic teams. The advert is a fine display of the pride that Aussies take in their Olympic and Paralympic representatives with the song “I Made It” playing in the background. The message is clear- regardless of whether or not they win any medals, the Aussies are already proud of their players. The players paid back all the love and support that they received from their countrymen by clinching 53 medals at the Paris Olympics, finishing fourth in the overall medal tally!
2. Singtel: Shining Bright From Singapore to Paris
Singapore’s population is just above 6 million. But the passion and resilience of this island nation is second to none and this 90-second spot by the Singaporean telecom brand Singtel bears ample testimony to this.
Singtel celebrated Singapore National Day with an Olympics film featuring some of Singapore's most promising sports profiles: shuttler Loh Kean Yew, kitefoiler Maximilian Maeder, and fencer Kiria Tikanah Abdul Rahman. As they got physically and mentally primed for one of the most important competitions in their career, they called out three ingredients they regarded as critical for success – speed, resilience, and tenacity.
3. ActiveSG Circle: One Team One Dream
They say that champions are made when nobody is watching. But when you are representing your country at the Olympics, the world is going to watch.
This spot by ActiveSG Circle throws the spotlight on Singapore’s team for the Paris Olympics. The advert aimed to garner support for their players from the masses and convey to their Olympians the high esteem that they are held in by their fellow countrymen.
With the entire nation rallying around its athletes, no dream is too big!
4. Figs Scrubs: Anatomy of a Champion
If there is one constant companion in every sportsperson’s career, it has got to be the countless injuries that they endure to their bodies and minds in the pursuit of their dreams.
But when you have abled medical support in the form of the US Medical Team, you can always expect to get back to your feet at the earliest. American medical clothing brand Figs Scrubber released this mindblowing 90-second spot that celebrates the US Medical Team who support their Olympians every step of the way. The advert is an extended version of Figs’ short film "Anatomy of a Champion" that takes a deeper look into what it takes to build bodies that break records.
Well, it surely takes an excellent medical team to back you up!
5. JSW Group: Rukna Nahi Hai
When Lebron James says you have to win every time to be a winner, you know he isn’t joking around. And the Indian multinational conglomerate JSW Group fully agrees with the legend’s opinion.
JSW Group launched this breathtakingly amazing Olympics advert featuring many of India’s medal hopefuls against the Indian actor Ajay Devgn’s voiceover. The ad talks about how regardless of whether they win or lose, these sportspersons have to continuously strive for perfection.
After all, victories and setbacks are chapters, not endings!
