5 Walmart Black Friday 2024 Ads That Highlighted Incredible Deals in Unique Ways

We are a bit late with this blog. But we just had to cover these commercials. After all, it’s not always that you see Walmart riding on the fifth gear with its creativity. As part of its 2024 Black Friday ad campaign titled “Deals of Desire,” Walmart dished out funny spoofs of shows like Yellowstone, Friday Night Live, Days of Our Lives, The Vampire Diaries, and Bridgerton featuring actors like Walton Goggins, Lisa Rinna, Ian Somerhalder, Taye Diggs, and Chad Michael Murray.

While we covered a couple of adverts from this campaign in our blog on the best Black Friday 2024 commercials, here are 5 more Walmart Black Friday 2024 ads that stood out.

1. Curtains Up

Beginning from where we left our blog on the best Black Friday 2024 ads, this advert is a continuation of the “Football & Foils” commercial.

The ad shows the head coach being advised by his wife to let their son follow his ambition so that he can ‘find’ himself. Also, we see him passing on the team's reins to the assistant coach who takes the team to a tournament, where one of the star players is knocked out in the field and has visions of a man in a hat who addresses him as his son. Who’s this person and how’s he related to the young player? We’ll find out later in the blog.

What stands out in the advert apart from the amazing performances of the entire cast are the amazing Walmart deals that are consistently flashed throughout the ad.

In case, you can’t follow the storyline, watch the first part of this ad to recap your memory.

2. A Scandal Indeed

The second ad on this list is a Bridgerton-ish spin-off that shows a young girl from the rich American class being continually pestered by her mother to choose from the clownish suitors that she has lined up for her.

The ad opens with young Lady Priscella receiving an invitation to the elite annual Walmart shopping season. But while she can’t wait to explore their deals, her mother wouldn’t allow her to go without a suitor. She then presents to her a couple of suitors, namely the Duke Pepperbottom of Northington and Earl Babcock of Crumpingshire, who aren’t exactly the kind of partners that Lady Priscella has dreamt of, to say the least.

As fate would have it, she sneaks out into the garden to meet Jack, their stable boy and one can easily figure some romance brewing between the two. Continue reading to find out what happens next!

3. Something’s Cooking

This one appears like a parody of the hit TV show Yellowstone and runs on a similar premise with Walmart deals featuring prominently through the ad.

The ad begins with a couple arguing about the man’s estranged brother, Davis. The woman, who clearly dislikes her brother-in-law, complains to her husband, Hank, that, unlike the amazing Walmart deals, his brother is always present on their ranch. However, Hank seems to have a soft spot for his brother and defends him saying that the ranch is his home since that’s where he grew up.

Back at the local pub, Davis finds an ally, Philip, who not only seems to know all about the ranch and the mine on it but is also the person that the young footballer in the first advert had visions of. We then see them going to the ranch in a helicopter, taking the brother and his family by surprise.

4. Stable Boy of the Season

Lady Priscella’s love affair with Jack, the stable boy, continues and grows even stronger when he reveals to her that he has inherited a Walmart Plus membership from a distant relative.

When the two lovebirds go to shop at the Walmart deals, they are met with insults and mockery by people of high society waiting outside the Walmart store. However, they take everyone by surprise when they reveal that they have a Walmart Plus membership, thereby giving them an early entry to the store.

Now, that’s some way of shutting up classist rascals!

5. Can’t Handle The Heat

The last advert on this list is a continuation of the Yellowstone spoof and also clears the air about the vision that the young football player had in the first ad.

The ad shows the brothers fighting amongst themselves as Philip blows up the mine. However, he gets seriously injured in the explosion and reveals to Davis that he had promised his son that he would be in the stands when his game goes down.

And, of course, the ad was again replete with not-so-blatant references to Walmart Black Friday deals!
